Dear
Coach Harris,
Philip is very thankful to you and your coaching staff for the
opportunity you gave him to be part of the Miracles Baseball
Program. He knows and appreciates the countless hours you spent in
preparing the team for games and tournaments. He realizes that you
not only prepared them for Baseball but also for the great game of
life which requires discipline and dedication. This experience
has helped him to prepare for a higher level of learning and
baseball in his life. He does not have too much time to dedicate to
other matters. He will remember his Miracles days as a positive
influence in his life. He would like to thank you, your staff and
your family for the sacrifices you made to make this team the
success that it was on and off the field.
Philip is very happy at LeTourneau University. He has approximately
five Bible studies per week. In addition, he has to attend church
on Sundays; it is mandatory. The school is very strong from the
point of view of applying Christian values and principles. They
have a floor chaplain who leads a Bible study once per week. Philip
has made a large number of friends both in the baseball program, in
his academic classes, and in his floor.
Academically he is excelling; he has great grades and he is studying
most of the time he is not practicing or playing Baseball. The
school and Baseball have been a blessing to his life.
In the Baseball arena, Philip is doing great. His team is 4 for 4
this fall season. The coaches are very happy with him. He has
flourished and has become the leader of the group. The Lord has
blessed him with the right school, friends and coaching staff. He
is looking forward to the start of his Spring Baseball season.
